Wall paintings of Christ, saints and angels have a dramatic effect on worship. Their size, especially if they cover all the church walls, deepen the sense that worship of earth is participation in heavenly worship. I work in various mediums, including true fresco, casein, and Keim’s mineral paints, an extremely durable fresco-like natural medium that fuses with mineral substrates.
